Get certified with Queensland's most comprehensive one-day Test & Tag Course - it's fully accredited and our course complies with Australian standards AS/NZS 3760: 2022. This hands-on and practical course is designed to give you the skills and confidence to start testing and tagging immediately. This is the highest qualification available in Australia and has been designed to give you all the skills and competency required to begin testing and tagging. This course has been completed by individuals, large corporations and thousands of small and medium-sized businesses. By completing the Nationally Recognised Course you will receive a statement of attainment for UEESS00174 - Electrical Safety Testing of Electrical Cord Connected Equipment and Cord Assemblies Skill Set. This Skill Set contains the following Units of Competency which you will complete as part of this course: UEECD0007 - Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace UEERL0003 - Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord-connected equipment and cord assemblies On the day you'll be provided with everything you need, which includes a manual, pen, notepad and equipment to use (you can also bring your own portable appliance tester). You will be shown how to use a PAT Tester in a small-sized class (strict maximum of 12 students) by an experienced test and tag industry specialist. This will ensure you have an interactive learning experience and given all the help you need. The course comprises of both theory and practical, but it does focus heavily on practical hands-on work to ensure you're completely ready to test and tag on your own. Course Duration - 1 full day of training to complete both courses - A typical course runs from 07:30 - 15:30 Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant. Cancellation Policy
Participants must: - Be at least 16 years of age - Wear closed in footwear and work appropriate attire - Possess a basic understanding of English - Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills - Provide a 100pts of ID (Drivers Licence, ID Card, Medicare or Passport etc.) - Arrive at least 15 minutes early to avoid delays - Bring their own lunch; breaks will be provided - Have their own method of transportation - bus stop nearbyx - Have your USI number ready. If you don't know your USI or if you need one, our team can help We supply all equipment necessary for you to undertake training when booking at our Woodridge office. Important Information: Prices are GST free. Prices listed are per person, unless otherwise stated. Statement of Attainment Students who are assessed as ‘competent’ will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Australian Operator Training (RTO 41351) and/or receive the relevant documentation required to submit your application through to Work Health and Safety to receive your Licence.
