The Licence to Operate A Forklift Truck (TLILIC0003) is a nationally recognised forklift licence that qualifies you to operate a forklift anywhere in Australia. CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry You’ll train on a well-maintained forklift supported by our knowledgeable team. A Licence to Operate A Forklift Truck (TLILIC0003) with Central Coast Training teaches you how to safely plan the forklift work, conduct routine checks on a forklift truck, shift loads in a safe manner, and safely shut down and secure equipment after completing operations. Course Outline • Introduction to forklift and its parts • Work planning, health and safety • Types of Forklifts • Workplace communications • Starting Forklifts • Operational Checks • Fault reporting • Load shifting • Load picking and placing • Emergency Procedures • Park, Shutdown and secure forklift trucks • Post operational checks You’ll require a valid forklift licence to remain employed or gain employment as an operator of these vehicles. These versatile machines are used across a range of industries and are a great start to any career. Students who attend training through Central Coast Training are supported by our industry qualified trainer / assessors and provided with a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards. We ensure you are confident in your abilities to successfully complete the course and utilise your skills in the workplace. Course Duration - 2 days of training and half a day to complete the assessment - 1 half day to complete the White Card (date booked separately) - A typical course runs Thursday - Saturday - A typical course runs from 08:00 - 15:30 Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant. Upon completion of the course students will be required to submit their application to Work Health and Safety QLD Licencing and pay the required fee to receive their licence. Students will also receive their White Card upon successful completion of the course. Training is conducted in our Woodridge office. 10% off all group bookings. Please note: Forklift and EWP (High Risk Work Licences) require a mandatory 3 days training. This is a WHSQ Government Requirement and attendance is required for the entire duration of the course. Participants must: - Be at least 18 years of age - Wear closed in footwear and work appropriate attire - Possess a basic understanding of English - Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills - Provide a 100pts of ID (Drivers Licence, ID Card, Medicare or Passport etc.) Central Coast Training cannot provide High Risk Training to students who do not have the required identification documents - Arrive at least 15 minutes early to avoid delays - Bring their own lunch; breaks will be provided - Have their own method of transportation - bus stop nearby - Have your USI number ready. If you don't know your USI or if you need one, our team can help We supply all equipment necessary for you to undertake training when booking at our Woodridge office. Important Information: Prices are GST free. Prices listed are per person, unless otherwise stated. By submitting your booking online, you understand that attendance throughout the duration of the course is required for successful completion, some courses may run across 2-3 days and payment for each course is required to secure your booking. Refund Policy No refunds will be given for non-attendance. Students may cancel or reschedule courses online or by contacting us within 24 hours prior to the course start date. Statement of Attainment Students who are assessed as ‘competent’ will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Australian Operator Training (RTO 41351) and/or receive the relevant documentation required to submit your application through to Work Health and Safety to receive your Licence.
