Service Description

Upon successful completion, students will receive a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment for the following: • RIIWHS204E Work safely at Heights • RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces • MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmosphere • RIIHAN301E Operate elevating work platform • TLILIC0005 Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform • CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) Package includes: PPE starter pack (gloves, hard hat, 2x safety glasses, hi-vis shirt) Bus hire (pick-up and drop off - from Logan area) Catering Central Coast Training teaches you how to safely plan the EWP work, safe operation, conduct routine checks on an EWP and safely shut down and secure equipment after completing operations. You’ll train on well-maintained equipment and be supported by our industry experienced team. Students are provided with a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and Australian standards. Course Outline • Introduction to EWP and its parts • Work planning, health and safety • Types of EWP • Workplace communications • Starting EWP • Operational Checks • Fault reporting • Load shifting • Load picking and placing • Emergency Procedures • Park, Shutdown and secure EWP • Post operational checks Course Duration • 5 days (Monday - Friday) • A typical course runs from 08:00am – 4:00pm Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant. Cancellation Policy

Participants must: • Be at least 16 years of age • Wear closed in footwear and work appropriate attire • Possess a basic understanding of English • Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills • Provide 100pts of ID (Drivers Licence, ID Card, Medicare or Passport etc.) • Arrive at least 15 minutes early to avoid delays • Bring their own lunch; breaks will be provided • Be respectful towards staff, other learners and equipment • Have their own method of transportation or bus stop nearby • Have your USI number ready (if you do not know your USI or if you need to create one, our team can help) We supply all the equipment necessary for you to undertake training when booking at our Woodridge office.
